Montreux, Switzerland – After more than 150 years of educational tradition, Institut Monte Rosa is marking a significant milestone. The owners of the historic campus have invited Eastwood Schools Group to establish a completely new school on the site: Eastwood Montreux International School, opening in 2026.

The historic property remains under their long-standing ownership, while the educational future of the campus will now be shaped entirely by Eastwood Schools Group.

With deep appreciation for Monte Rosa’s heritage, Eastwood is bringing a reimagined vision – combining world-class IB/American academics, real-world learning, and a next-generation boarding experience. The new school will operate with its own identity, model, and leadership, designed from the ground up for globally minded families seeking a modern, future-ready education. 

Following several years of reduced activity on the campus, this relaunch marks a fresh beginning: the launch of a pioneering international school focused on leadership, entrepreneurship, and impact.
