Pupils whose mother tongue is not English may be admitted into the English speaking Section, and then follow special preparatory courses (Intensive English Program).
The following are the main English Language Examinations for which pupils are prepared:
- University of Cambridge Examinations Syndicate: KET to Proficiency Certificates in English.
- The CEEB Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL).
All other normal examinations (SAT etc) can be taken either in school or within the area.
Studying in an international environment
At Monte Rosa, our students discover or improve their English thanks to our various courses, especially designed and organized according to their level. At Monte Rosa, the common language is English, in order to provide better communication between everybody.
Languages: an added value
Foreign languages are a crucial part for preparing a diploma that is why our school gives a high importance to this aspect by offering an international environment to the pupils studying here. While learning a language, students also discover cultures, ethnic groups and points of view.
